- When I went to see my solicitor to help me settle my divorce over a week after my X started proceedings, my solicitor told me that going through a divorce would have more effect on me than a close death in my family. At that time I did not take much notice of those words, but boy o boy was she right. Here we are 4 years later in 2009 and we back in court. At the moment I have 50% care of our daughter, the X is not happy with that, so she thinks she can change it. I fully understand those men that break into the commons, climb up public building and do all sorts of crazy stuff to get attention.
